In November 2016, our company became the new owner of the “Holiday Inn” and “BelExpocentra” in Belgrade.
“Holiday Inn Belgrade” enriched our hotel portfolio with 140 rooms and 7 conference rooms, while the multifunctional space “Belexpocentar” marked the entry of our company into the congress real estate business. With almost 2,500 m2, this multifunctional venue is completely suitable for organizing fairs, congresses and various types of celebrations. The direct connection with the Holiday Inn Hotel is one of the important advantages when organizing an event.
“Although the Holiday Inn Hotel has good business results, our intention is to improve the business as much as possible and provide our guests with even better service”, said the then Vice President of Delta Holding and CEO of the Crowne Plaza Belgrade Hotel. “Belexpocentar has a great untapped potential in the organization of events, which fits perfectly with Delta Real Estate’s strategy to develop congress tourism in Belgrade, in which business is not seasonal, but lasts throughout the year.”
By purchasing the “Holiday Inn” Hotel and “Belexpocentar”, our company strengthens the cooperation with the InterContinental Hotels Group, which now takes place through the four brands of this hotel group. Delta Real Estate is now the owner of the hotels Holiday Inn, Crowne Plaza, Indigo in Belgrade and the InterContinental Hotel in Ljubljana, and we are ready to start the construction of a new luxury hotel in Belgrade.
