Built in the previous century and designed by the architect Stojan Maksimovic, the building of a once-famous Intercontinental Belgrade hotel today represents the biggest hotel in Belgrade.
With the reconstruction, a new hotel brand from the IGH group and a ceremonial opening in 2013 we enriched the city’s hotel offer with a hotel that radiates luxury and comfort. Crowne Plaza Belgrade is situated in the heart of the business district in Novi Beograd Municipality and only a few minutes’ walk from the center. Its impressive architectural conception connects this hotel to Sava Center, the largest conference center in this part of Europe.
Crowne Plaza Belgrade Hotel has 412 rooms and suites, 14 conference halls, 4 restaurants, a spa centre with a pool and a fitness zone.
Such a hotel concept represents the result of the work of our company’s dedicated team and cooperation with IGH Hotels Group and Virgile&Stone from London.
Hotel’s location in Vladimir Popovic Street is right next to Sava Center, the largest conference center in Serbia and the two are linked with a so-called “heated corridor”, i.e. a walkway, which represents a great advantage over competition on the conference industry market. The entire complex is situated exceptionally well in the very center of business district in Novi Beograd Municipality, only 15 minutes from the airport and 5 minutes from the centre of Belgrade.
The rehabilitation of the facade was one of the most demanding parts of the project, the entire surface was sand blasted and then coated with a cement-based single component anti-corrosion coating. The existing glass panes that comprise a large part of the building’s facade were replaced with triple-glazed ones that ensure maximum energy efficiency.
Crowne Plaza Belgrade is the winner of the prestigious award Saint-Gobain Rigips Trophy Serbia for 2013. Delta Real Estate received this award as the General Coordinator of works on design and construction of the facility.
