On 10 March 2015, a solemn ceremony marked the opening of a modern distribution and logistics center for the company Delta Transportni Sistemi. The distribution and logistics center covers an area of 20,730 m2. The capacity of the center is 26,000 pallet places, with different temperature regimes, from -20 to +25°C.
“The most important news today is the opening of 400 new jobs,” said Miroslav Mišković, president of Delta, at the opening. “New employment today is the most important task of both the state and us from business.”
The rapid construction of the distribution and logistics center was made possible by the timely issuance of permits in the municipality of Stara Pazova, which has once again shown that it listens to investors in its community. The cooperation of local authorities allowed Delta to show how efficiently it realizes its investments and to build a facility covering such area in just 7 months.
“Thanks to this investment worth EUR 10.2 million, Delta Transportni Sistem will be able to accept and distribute 3,000 pallets of goods per day and serve a network of 15,000 customers across Serbia.” With such an infrastructure, DTS becomes one of the leaders in the field of domestic transport, storage, forwarding and logistics,” said the then CEO of Delta Transportni Sistem (DTS).
