On 21 March 2019, Delta Planet in Banja Luka, the largest shopping mall in Bosnia and Herzegovina, was officially opened. With the music of the Viva Vox choir, the guests went on a tour of the facility, marking the start of work. Milorad Dodik, President of Republika Srpska, Igor Radojičić, Mayor of Banja Luka and Miroslav Mišković, President of Delta Holding, attended this event and addressed the attendees.
The shopping mall Delta Planet Banja Luka is an investment worth EUR 70 million. This shopping mall covers an area of 62,500 m2, has more than 100 stores and has brought more than 40 new brands to the BiH market. Delta Planet represents a new planet of shopping and entertainment for the whole family and is a unique facility of its type in Banja Luka.
“After the InterContinental Hotel in Ljubljana, we are opening this shopping mall in Banja Luka, and next week in Varna, Bulgaria. It is part of Delta Holding’s regional development, which extends from Mount Triglav to the Black Sea,” said Miroslav Mišković, president of Delta Holding. “We expect the start of investments in Zagreb and Skopje soon. And we hope to get permits for the start of the construction of Delta Planet and the InterContinental Hotel in Belgrade.”
A concert by Željko Joksimović was organized for the citizens present in front of the shopping mall. The celebration continued inside the shopping mall, where visitors mingled with famous YouTubers, enjoyed the Viva Vox concert and the performance of SambaNSe. A rich entertainment program, various surprises, gifts and discounts enriched the opening week.
